Physical, real Shopping Malls struggle more and more with the fact that people tend to go shopping online.
But shopping online today means to lose an important aspect of visiting a physical Shopping Mall:

Where will the
First Malls be Located?

It is a bit nonsensical to talk about "a location" of a virtual Shopping Mall in the Metaverse.

Nevertheless, not all retail stores want to sell and ship internationally. And because of the complexity of shipping, payment and tax requirements that are so fundamentally different in every country, and the intuitive expectation of the customers to see brands and products of the region they live in when they visit a mall, we decided to "localize" our Shopping Malls.

The first Smilodo Malls that will go live are "localized" for these countries:
  • International Mall
  • India Mall
  • Switzerland Mall
  • Germany Mall
Of course a visitor can choose which mall he wants to visit, and there will be portals in every mall to bring you directly to the other malls. You think your country is missing on that list? Contact us and we can talk about the possibilities to add it!

The Smilodo Mall 
Business Model

As you have read above, we will launch different malls, "located" in different areas of the world.
The prices involved in renting and buying of the Mall Spaces, the marketing- and the maintenance fees are adapted a bit to the Purchasing Power Parity of these regions to make it fair.

The target of Aeddon Ltd. Switzerland is to sell 1/3 of the available Mall Spaces per Shopping Mall to investors and Shop&Service Owners, with an upper limit of 1/2 of the Mall Spaces to be sold.
The rest of the Mall Spaces will be rented to Shop&Service Owners directly by Smilodo.
