How to
create a Crypto Wallet

To become a part of the Smilodo Mall community you need to buy a Smilodo Genesis NFT, and for this you need to have a Crypto Wallet.


There are many Crypto Wallets Apps that can be used for this.

But we will focus in this how-to on two of the most widely used Crypto Wallet Apps: MetaMask and Trust Wallet


The process is the same for all different Crypto Wallet Apps:


  1. Install the Crypto Wallet App (Desktop or Mobile Phone)
  2. Create your Crypto Wallet with it
  3. Fund your Crypto Wallet with money
  4. Mint the Smilodo Genesis NFT


For Mobile Phones
Install Trust Wallet

On a Mobile Phone, Trust Wallet can be installed as normal app.

For Android

1. Open your "Play Store" and search for "Trust Wallet" or

open the following link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wallet.crypto.trustapp

2. Install the Trust Wallet app


For iPhones

1. Open your "App Store" and search for "Trust Wallet or

open the following link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/trust-crypto-bitcoin-wallet/id1288339409

2. Install the Trust Wallet app



For Android and iPhones

3. Start the Trust Wallet app and press "Create a new Wallet"

4. Enter a PIN code to protect the Trust Wallet app in the future

5. Accept the Privacy Policy and the ToS, and accept that you have understood the importance of the Secret Phrase (Seed).

Attention:
Who ever knows your Seed has full access to your Crypto Wallet and all funds!

Some rules to keep it safe:
  • Never share your Seed with somebody else (even if asked!).
  • Never take a screenshot of it, and never save it in any other electronic form.
  • Keep it in a safe place until you need it to recover your wallet.
  • In the case you need it to recover your wallet, put it back in a safe place just after you used it!
  • Smilodo will never ask you for your Seed!

Note: the Seed you see below in the screenshot is an example only. Never use it for your Wallet!
6. Write down your Secret Phrase (Seed) and store it safely.

7. Reconstruct your Seed by clicking the words in the correct order. This is to ensure that you have written down your Seed, so you can later recover your Crypto Wallet in the case the device or app is broken.

8. Congratulations! You just have created your first Crypto Wallet!
But as you can see, your Crypto Wallet has not yet any funds on it.
Let's buy Ethereum by clicking first "Ethereum" and then "Buy"!
We recommend to use MoonPay, it's simple and you don't need to go through a complicated KYC process if you buy for 300$. Of course you can choose another payment provider. Simply follow their instructions until you have paid with your Credit Card and the Ethereum is on your Trust Wallet.

7. Now you are ready to buy Smilodo Genesis NFTs.
Simply connect your Crpyto Wallet and press the "Mint" button!

For Desktop PC
Install Metamask

On a Desktop PC, Metamask can be installed as browser addon/extension for several web browsers.
We will show here how it's done for Google Chrome, but it works similar for other browsers.
Currently supported browsers are: Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge

1. Go to https://metamask.io/download/ and download the browser extension


2. Start to create your Crypto Wallet, select "Create Wallet" on the second screen.

3. Enter a strong password. This will be used to unlock your Crypto Wallet in the future.

4. Uncover and write down your Seed. The Seed is your Crypto Wallet "Backup".
You can recover the full Crypto Wallet with it in case your device or app is broken.
